The Brutal Reality

I'm sorry but this is reality! Quality employees who are use to make 100K + can no longer find good jobs. I CAN HELP! Our company has produced more 100K earners than any other company in the world!

Don't lie and tell me you "don't know anyone" that needs to make more money; because I can totally see through your lie. Find out what we really have to offer.

Call Ty at 435-512-5444 to set up an appointment

This Is What We Face ...

Steve showed this at our Saturday training and it blew us away! I just wish I could get a hold of this kid and show him our amazing opportunity! If you know anyone that has been hurt from the mortgage crisis PLEASE send them our way ... Ty can train them and make sure they are not losing homes, credit scores ... everything!

BTW - we have some very exciting news to come!

Chris & Amber

Congratulations to Tyson's cousin Chris and his new bride Amber. They got married in the Idaho Falls Temple on 03.21.08. We love you and are so excited to have Amber be part of the family.

TOGETHER FOREVER

Easter

Ty and I hope all of you have a fantastic Easter. We are up in Logan and having such a blast with Ty's family. We had the chance to stop by and visit my sister Jael. Her new apartment is great and her new couches are fantastic. I have some fun photos - including some of the one and only "peace rally" protest in Logan.

We love escaping to Logan and are so grateful for Debbie's and Gaylan's hospitality. We also want to send a huge hug to Grandma and Granpa Gerber. We love you!

My Husband

What is his name? Tyson Rulon Gerber
How long have you been together? A little more than two years.
How long did you date? 1.5 years; two breakups and one great story
How old is he? 24
Who eats more At first it was me, but now Tyson is used to eating more real food, besides cereal. So now it's him.
Who said i love you first? Tyson. The funny thing is that it took him more than two months to kiss me (07.31.07) but only three more to tell me he loved me (08.03.07)
Who is taller? Tyson. He is the perfect height in my book
Who can sing better? Ty. He actually had a singing record deal when he was 18.To be honest I'm still scared to sing badly in front of him
Who is smarter? Depends on what subject. Ty knows so much about his industry, but I am the queen on other stuff.
Who does the laundry? Mostly me.
Who pays the bills? I handle our finances and give Ty monthly updates
Who sleeps on the right side? I do, but I have this weird habit of going to the bathroom in the morning and returning to bed and get into his spot.
Who mows the lawn? we don't have a lawn, but Ty used to own his own landscaping business, so when we do, he will be the master lawn guy.
Who cooks dinner? I do most of the cooking, but Tyson will sometimes surprise me with a great dinner.
Who drives? Tyler if we are together.
Who is more stubborn? that's a good question. We're both stubborn in different ways
Who kissed who first? Tyson did!
Who asked who out first? Tyson asked me out for a Friday night, but had to cancel the day of. The very next day he convinced me to go sailing with him. It was the perfect date.
Who proposed? Tyson. We have a great video of it!
Who has more friends? I'm not sure...probably about the same. A lot of our friends are each other's friends now too
Who is more sensitive? oh my... definitely me.
Who has more siblings? me; one sister, two brothers. Tyson; one sister, one brother.
Who wears the pants? Honestly, I'm more forward with things, so it may seem like I wear the pants, but honestly we're a team. Its amazing how we work together. Tyson is an amazing person. We are better people because of our marriage. I love him.

Passed!

81% baby! That's all that is on my mind today. For PFS we have to get certified nationally to invest. We have three test to pass; Life, Series 63; Series 6. To this date I have never had a harder test than the series 6 (mind you I took law, economics, statistics and business in college.)

I woke up at 6:30 am today, relaxed and headed to the testing center. After 2.5 hours of gruelling testing the little screened flashed "PASSED 81%." I was so happy.

This now means that Ty and I are officially in the investment world business - we are just as great as any Fidelity, Charles Schawed, Morgan Stanley Joe out there - and man it feels good! Our next step is to start building our goal of 10 million dollars under management.

I love what we do. I love PFS and I love that I'm a better person because of my trials.

Angry Remarks

To update ya'll, part of Spring letting a bunch of people off also included them shutting off all of our cell phone services - randomly and without warning. So I've gone now 4 days without a cell phone. Initially I was actually kind of happy - I mean I'm not the person that likes to be reachable all the time. I think it's important to have some kind of privacy. So the phone was not the big deal, but I knew I needed a phone. I had some new requirements; no contract, lots of minutes and and lots of text. Solution. Cricket.

So I went to Cricket and told them I wanted their services. They said I needed to either 1. buy a new phone or 2. Get a phone that can be translated to Cricket. So Samantha and Patti came to my rescue and let me borrow a great phone. I took the phone to Cricket on Friday (3.07.08) and today (3.12.08) its still not ready?! I would not really mind it except that I've had to drive to South Jordan (approx. 14 miles from my place) to check on it at least five times and unless you have been hiding under a rock, you know the cost of gas these days!

I honestly just want the phone to work out so I don't have to worry it any more. Thankfully I now how our office phone.

Any of you have any bad cell phone experiences?

Update

The job hunt continues, and although Ty and I are seriously thinking about keeping me home (that's another blog in itself)I had the funniest interview last week.

Thanks to my amazing bishopric, I had two interviews last week and two this week; however I also had one with the University of Utah. ***Note: the position read "Executive Communications Coordinator/Assistant"***. I got to the building and automatically knew there was something weird. They instructed me to enter through a door that read "Rodent Deliveries Only" (strike one)

I was led to a cinder block makeshift office that was home to THREE assistants (strike two.) Once I was finally in the interview I asked exactly what the position required and the once cool "Executive Communications Coordinator/Assistant" turned into the Universities animal ordered. Basically I would order all the animals (rats, bunnies, dogs, cats ... etc) that are used for research ... and yes PETA hates that department. Here's is the kicker. I would also be in charge of the adoption program for any remaining living animals (STRIKE THREE!)

I came home, told Ty and we both laughed about it the rest of the day. Needless to say, IF they offer me the position, I will let my PETA loving genes decline.

On a more serious note. This last week has been such a humbling experience.
1. I have a lot more respect for my husband. Seeing Ty in action with PFS exposes me to the hardships of running a business. You can't leave your business at the door when you get home and yet Ty is so happy, patient and loving every time we are together.
2. Heavenly Father is always in charge.
3. Trials happen to everyone. Whether they be physical, financial or in relationship.
4. When you fall, get up and work harder.

I'm grateful for my husband, my family and for a loving Heavenly Father.
