Food, Girls and Biz

We just finished a fantastic night. I was lucky enough to go to dinner with Tanya Bennion and Melissa Mott. We had dinner at The Pie in South Jordan and then headed for a kicking Girls Nights at our office. I had a blast. We talked about babies, cars, love and just enjoyed each others company. Thanks girls for the amazing night!

PS. Melissa is now available to do hair in Bountiful. She is amazing! If you need a haircut, please contact her at 801.699.6662 or click here for a free service!

PPS. I really have to get a camera -- all those great memories are now gone and will never be blogged.

Going Private ... Dang It

sI hate this. I swore I would never do this. It actually bugs me when other people do it. I have to make by Blog Private.

It all has to do with compliance for my company. You can all tell I love what I do and talk about it often - however, this is seen as a form of advertising and since my blog is open to the public - it's againts compliance. Sooooooooo ... I have to go private. I hate the fact that I'm writing this but you don't want to mess with my companies legal department either :)

So I will go private as of April 1st. I'm so sorry. I would love to invite you so PLEASE post your email on my comments.

On a lighter note - this week was awesome. Tyson held his second solo meeting and it rocked. We had 35 attendees, with 20 guest. It was awesome. Tyson and I personally had 12 guest there. The team did awesome. We are so grateful for them.

Can you believe it's almost the middle of March? This year is flying by.

Anyway. Going private sucks. Winning rocks.

Success is Not An Accident

This. Is. A. Great. Book.

It was recommended by one of the top trainers in the company and I bought it out of sheer obedience. Glad I did. It has all the qualities of a great book 1. Simple to read 2. Straight to the point 3. Exercises along the way 4. Great quotes 5. Simple concepts. I am almost done after three weeks of reading it at night. Just yesterday the simple concept of "Self-talk"really hit me. So many times we don't even realize what we are "thinking" all day. Newberry talks about how the vision that is constantly lurking in our minds - will become a reality. It made me think about my vision. Was it big enough? Strong enough? Your vision can include everything that really means something into your life. I put the book down, closed my eyes and imagined my "perfect day." It was incredible. It felt so real, almost as if I could touch it.

Some say this hooky - to that Newberry says its the lack of vision. Weird people are rich - cool people are broke. Simple concept right? But it's true. I'm grateful for my small condo - but my BIG vision.

The book at $7 on amazon - worth a read.

Found My Phone ...

I'm a blond when it comes to my phone. I mean how many times can you lose it? My running total is 5 times - this year. I always find it of course, but the two or three days that I don't have it - I feel like an idiot. This last time it happened from Thursday to Monday.

I left the office, got home and noticed I did not have it - no biggie. Ty and I went to our opp meeting, came home and studied. The next day I go to my car, completely confident that my phone is in my car. Wrong. Where is it? The office right? Wrong again. Now we are going on two days and the battery is dead. I went the whole weekend with this worry thought in the back of my head. All sorts of thoughts started coming into my head. "How about if I really did lose it?", "I don't want a new phone", "I'm worried about it", "man I suck at this phone stuff"

This morning, still no phone. I am driving to the office and I just start telling myself "I will find my phone, I will find my phone" and guess what was sitting in the bottom of my office desk ... MY FREAKING PHONE!!! So what if I walked by it all weekend, I'm just glad I found it. Hooray for positive thinking.
