family pictures #1

kayla thompson took our family pictures two weeks ago. I got them back and have tried to edit them - and while I am no designer, I'm pretty happy with the results. The girls lasted an hour but we took lots of poses. It was a really  nice September day. We took them at 11 am and it was a pretty good time.

Jealous

Sydney has been showing signs of jealousy toward London. It started two days ago. She constantly keeps saying "hold you" when she means hold me, carry me. It has been hapebninf whenever I hold London for long periods of times. I usually hold London the most when I take Sydney outside and I'm following her. It makes me sad to think that she feels left out. Sydney has never been one to cuddle or hold still longer than 10 seconds, so having her want to be in my arms is so new. London is so easy going that I forget how much I hold her. She's do squishy too. Anyway I've been trying to cuddle and read more trying to give her more one on one time.

Today we stayed home and relaxed com took Kayla Thompsons family photos and Sarah Bugarin watched the girls. I went to a "wrap party" yesterday for Sarah. It was pretty cool and I ordered more wraps. London has been starting to bit drink a lot of milk and just wants food v giving her a lot more big people food.

Conference weekend

I took Sydney to the children's museum Saturday morning before conference. We had such a fun time. She played in the market , bubbles and the kinetics. We made it back right at the start of the morning session. Sunday we had two families over for our waffle Sunday tradition. Overall it was a great weekend. I face timed with my mom Sunday night and we talked about the recent death if brother merril Hutchinson from the ward growing up. It breaks my heart for their family. I'm so thankful for my little families. For my little girls. I feel like I vent a lot in my blog. Motherhood is the toughest thing I have ever done. That being said, I would never ever trade my girls for anything. I stay up at night and have to force myself to not think about what could happen to them. The Lord have us families because he knew they would bring us the most happiness amidst frustration.

Cold day

Today was the first cold day of the year. Highs of 40 when yesterday was a high of 80. Gotta love Colorado weather. We had an indoor day. We took baths, did laundry, played in the cribs, and played markers. Sydney got a little carried away while I was in the computer. I though London had a ear infection but the doctor said she was clear. I always worry about them having an infection.

London has started to talk and she is soooo cute. She is also loving playing in the crib with sydney   Tyson got home early today and it was so fun to have him walk outside with Sydney. This weekend is general conference and Tyson is off tomorrow so we can actually watch it together.

Today....

Last week we went to the scottorns for a play date. After eating lunch Sydney went and were playing in the balloons next to London. She pushed London  over. London was fine and did not make a peep. Sydney, however, broke down into tears, started calling me and pointing to London. Distressed that she had fallen over and very worried about her, I tried to tell Sydney it was ok but it wasn't until London was safely in my arms that she called down.

Sydney, you are a good big sister. Today however, you threw you ball and it bounced off London's head. It's a working progress.

Visit

Martin and Erica visited Denver to attend a broncos vs eagles game. We got to hang out Saturday night. We went to dinner at hacienda. Walked at flat irons and attempted in vain to find a open Starbucks at 930 but apparently they all close at 9 on weekends. It was still super fun to see them. Their wedding was fun and they are such a cute couple. Martin has come such a long way and he is doing great things. We can't wait yo see the again.
