It was really hard for me to put my girls in daycare. We needed me working, but I was so scared for them.

Well 1.5 years into it, my heart is really at peace. We love Goddard. It's a great school. One of my favorite things is that they send me daily reports on the girls.

I have them go automatically into a folder but every so often I peek in there and see what the girls are doing during the day. I am amazed at all the cute things the girls learn and do and get to play with.

I know they would never get this if they stayed at home with me. I am so happy for them. They have awesome teachers. I love the building, the community and the fact that I can go get them on my bike.

Mother's Day and other happenings

It's been a great last week. My big client is on vacation and we finished our most successful launch yet - so it's been quieter and it's been nice to have a little break. 

I joined Annie and Emma stallings to the free day at the children's museum. We got to see the new part and it's dang awesome! 

We also has a crazy May hail storm. We got two inches of little hail. Our poor tree lost all its blossoms. 

For Mother's Day we got to attend the compassion project and see how kids in 3rd world countries live. It was very humbling. It made me so grateful for our little life. I felt very blessed on Mother's Day to have Tyson there and to know our girls feel loved and safe. 

I started working out at orange theory fitness and so far have been loving it. I work out on Tuesdays and Saturdays. It's given me a lot of energy. I won't lie I am sore but it feels great. 

Lately

We went to an awesome birthday party on Saturday. We stayed three hours. 

We also went to jimmy johns dollar sale and got yummy sandwiches. 

We also hit the library this week. This week is my certification week. I e been waking up at 5 am and the girls are staying a little longer at school. So far I've had three big projects. I am trying my best to do a good job. Tyson has been helping me a lot for it too. 

When it's warm

Some of my favorite things to do when it's warm are walking and riding my bike. Last Saturday I took the girls on a two hour bike ride - it was so fun. 

When I pick them up from school I park several blocks away - just so we have to walk. I tell the girls I "hid the van" and we have to search for it. 

I have been finding that weeding and light yard work really relaxes me. It's a wonderful thing that has nothing to do with technology.

ESS Big Presentation

Tyson got home last night from a really big presentation that he did for Extra Space. The last 3 weeks have been crazy. It's totally felt like Tyson was just gone. It was hard on all of us. He prepared so much and he did his best. He learned a lot about himself.  It's been a great experience and we are grateful for the chance to learn. 

I've been busy with work. I got a new client - Lucidity Productions. I am loving working with them. They are really really great people. I might also be bringing on another client. I feel super blessed to do what I do. 

I'm happy that one of my clients approved for Jael to come on board as a customer service VA and social media. It makes me excited to know I will have more help. 

This last weekend we had conference - which was great. We had the Blakely's over for Conference Breakfast. They also used our grill for chicken and left some for us. Today I worked 7 hours until 430 and then I took the girls on a bike ride. It was a wonderful day - a little windy but warm.
