Thanksgiving 2018
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving week. It felt amazing to have 4 days off (mostly)
We had Lana’s family come and the Smith's family from church.
We did all the prepping the night before and I drove Kristen Zandee to the airport at 5 am which meant the turkey was done right at 1030.
It was great to have everything done 30 minutes before lunch.
We had a ton of food! It was amazing.
After lunch, we played games and ate dessert. Everyone left at 4 pm and clean up was done in 20 minutes. It was amazing!
We hit up some Black Friday shopping but did not buy anything. I just like to walk and feel the energy.
On Friday I attended a jazzercise class. Then we ate leftovers and went shopping. I took the girls to a free festival with cookie decorating, got chocolate, free face painting and lots of fun while Tyson used a gift card to buy some shoes.
Then we went to Costco and got hot dogs for $5. We made it home by 630 and just hung out then rest of the night.
On Saturday tyson got his haircut and we took the girls to the aquarium. We had coupons and only paid $23 for all of us!
Then Ty convinced me to get Panda Express. We came home and watched Christmas movies.
It’s been a wonderful weekend! Relaxing and fulfilling at the same time. We got all our Christmas shopping done and it feels so good to not worry about things.

Dang! The first few weeks in November have been crazy! I attended Ask Live in Orlando Florida November 1st - 4th. The conference was amazing and emotional at the same time. I made the top 10 in the final contest. 2 people from my Triad got top 3 and Dayna won it :) We are so happy.
It's been quite a year of being in the Ask Coaching. I have learned so much. It was also really neat to see Rachel there from Keri's and Susie's team. She is awesome.
The worst part was that Friday night 11/02 I get a crazy text from Tyson "Call NOW. Emergency"
I rushed out of the room and called him. London and Abby were jumping off the play kitchen and Abby jumped too soon - London fell back and broke her arm.
Poor Tyson was in a panic. Sydney stayed with the Blakely's and Tyson took London to Good Sam. She was being so brave. They were there a few hours and they set it back. A week later we took her to get her cast.
Our ward was amazing! I texted a few sisters and they brought dinner and watched the girls so Tyson could sleep. London will have her cast for 3 weeks.
I got home Sunday night at 11 PM and was so glad to be home. It's been a busy week with work but I feel so grateful for my clients.

Sydney Turns 7
Happy Birthday Sydney,
You turned 7! This year I got to go to your class and help with the Halloween party. It was really fun! You loved going trick or treating and the weather turned warm.
This year you have done so many things! You learned to ride your bike, you became more independent. Your reading really took off. You also had your 1st surgery to take your adenoids out.
Your mind goes 1000 miles per hour. You ask questions about everything and you really do inspect everything around you. You ask questions about Death, babies, homelessness, food, school, and friends. You trust us - and I love that. You tell me about the funny or naughty things you do.
You have an honest heart. You apologize when you do something bad but it does not stop sneaking candy. Candy is kind of your downfall but you are working to eat healthier foods.
You still loving being rocked and sitting on my lap. You love holding hands with me. You are also really great at swimming! You have learned to stay safe.
You love your friends and you are learning its ok to not do everything with only one person. You are also learning to stand up if your friends are doing something that was not good.
Your prayers have really changed this last year - they are so much more meaningful. You also talk about how grateful you are for things.
You are such a sweet girl Sydney - with SO much energy and love of life. I love you and I am happy you are part of our family.
Love,
Mom

October Happenings
October has been SO fun! What an amazing month. For the most part the weather has been really pleasant. Today and tomorrow Halloween) it's going to be cold though - boo!
Some of the fun things we have done are: Trunk or treat at Church. Trick or treat street at Jefferson Academy and Legacy High School. Trick or treating at Orchard mall with Facepainting.
London went on her first field trip at the Pumpkin Patch and we have been able to get about 8 punkins.
Work has been lighter since the Conquer Conference and I am so grateful. I've been able to go on walks and work on the yard.
Our tree stayed green much longer this year. It's been awesome. The leaves are all down but we have spent about 7 hours cleaning up during the month.
This week I travel to Orlando for my final Ask Live event. It's been an amazing year with a lot of growth and learning. I am so thankful I got to be part of it.
