Thompson Visit 2019

Oh my goodness we had a BLAST with the Thompson Clan coming to visit. Their spring break is in the middle of April and they made the trek to see us the week of Easter.

It was so fun! Sydney and London loved their cousins and Sydney cried tears the night before they left.

They arrived Thursday night and we just hung out at home that night and had Taco Soup for dinner. Friday we went to Red Rocks, Steve and Tyson worked out, we went Gymnastics Class, Freddy's for shakes, Crumble for cookies and the awesome park at the outlet mall.

Saturday we walked and rode bikes to Tala's house for her amazing Easter Egg Brunch party. The kids did an Easter Egg hunt, the food was amazing and we loved walking there and back.

We hit the Apex Center for swimming for a few hours. The kids loved the slide and Sydney was able to go down all by herself - she loved it!

After showers, we made it home just in time for me to go pick up Sydney Lake to babysit the kids. Then the grown ups went to Lulu's for dinner, Huckleberry's for dessert and looked at all the homes in Louisville. The weather was perfect and we loved our kid-free time.

We came back around 730 to clean up and get ready for their trek back home tomorrow. Sunday morning they got up at 6 am and we waved them off.

It was such a fun trip. Our kids played so well together - and they were able to see our life here. It was a great time. We miss them already.
