It's the last week of June. Sadly June's weather has not been the best. The best days have been in the middle of the week and sadly many weekends are rainy and sad :( But I am hoping July will be better on the weekends.

For Father's Day we had a few people over for dinner - we had yummy hamburgers, salad, and chips. We have also enjoyed smores with our neighbors and hanging out in the front yard and chatting with neighbors.

This last Saturday was crazy! We rode bikes to Jax but sadly their "friends" festival was canceled due to rainy weather. But we DID enter a chance to win a cool duffle bag from Eagle Creek.

Well, we missed by 1 number on the first round. Then Tyson said he was going to go back for the 2 pm showing. Sydney went with him and asked the lady if she can pick the ticket.

Well, she did and picked 2 tickets and the lady said she had to put one back. She put one back and guess what?!?!!  she picked TYSON's!!!!!! It was amazing!

Sydney now calls herself Daddy's Lucky Charm. We also got 2 collapsible bags for free - so cool!

Then the Lord blessed Tyson to find a new monitor on Craigslist. We took all the cash we could find since our banks were closed. We drove 45 minutes and the person did not show up - we were bummed.

THEN when we were 10 minutes away from the meeting place - the lady called us and she felt sorry. So we gave her another chance and the monitor is gorgeous. Better yet - it will allow Tyson to work from home 2 mornings per week - and allow us to do Come Follow Me together 2X per week.

So the goal is for Tyson to work 5 am - 7 am  a few days per week and then be with us from 7 - 745. Then get to work by 830.

Hopefully, we can make it work :) Tyson has been looking for this monitor for the last 6 months. We are excited to do that.

Summer So Far ...

So far summer has been relaxing and fun. The week before summer camp started the girls and I rode bikes and went to Boondocks. It was a rough week - especially since we had the Conquer launch during that time - but we made it.

The girls started June 3rd and they come home tired but happy. They are part of the Monkey's Group.

Debbie and Gaylan visited us from June 6th - June 11th. We went to many free events, church, we ate at Hu Hot and attended a concert. Monday we picked up the girls early and went to Adventure Golf.

It was so fun to see them and the girls LOVED having Chi Chi here.

Tyson has still been working 13 hour days - he is learning so much. We are grateful to have him work and for summer camp :)
