Lately Fun Things

It's been a fun April. Here are the highlights.

1. Tyson won tickets to Disney on Ice - Frozen. It was amazing. I actually cried because it felt like magic. They really do such a good job and the fact that I love ice-skating is even better. We snuck in snacks, borrowed dressed to wear from the Calley's and bought dollar store light up toys - thank heavens since everything was super expensive. The travel was really easy. Poor London lost it on the way home (it was 840 and really late)

2. My next door neighbor found a karate school that was doing free classes for the entire month of April - so fun! So I signed up the girls. London does 2x per week and Sydney does 3x per week. Sydney sometimes does not want to go but they really do teach them great stuff.

3. Sydney had her allergy testing at Children's. Thankfully she does not have ANY allergies. We went to Panera after the appointment for her being so brave. She LOVED her big tulip cookie.

4. With the weather being nice sometimes - I have been riding my bike often. I am still scared after our fall in September but I love doing it and slowly getting my courage back up again.

Easter 2018

Easter was so chill this year. It was actually really amazing.

We did an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday. Then we went to a birthday party and it warmed up so the girls got to play for 2 hours outside.

Then we came home and watched conference. After, Iuliana and I went to dinner during Priesthood.

We went to the Old Spaghetti Factory and brother and sister Reeder were there. We all sat together and they even paid for our dinner  - what a blessing. Also, the girls were AMAZING during dinner.

Tyson really enjoyed Priesthood. Then Sunday the girls woke up and looked for the eggs around the house. We made our waffles with whip cream and strawberries. Then we stayed in our PJ's and watched conference.

Conference was amazing. The announced a  lot of good changes and the announced a temple in NICARAGUA!  I was so excited I immediately called my Abuelita.

I was struggling the day before the conference and I  came into conference with a heavy heart. I felt so uplifted and comforted by what I heard. I loved hearing President Nelson too. He felt so real to me.

The girls have been so silly. From Sydney asking random strangers for money at the Ice Rink - to them swinging in the playroom like monkeys. They are so amazing. They are fun and lively. I am so thankful for them. Monday we went all the way down to Centennial to pick up some free tickets to Disney on Ice. Then we stopped at Ikea to avoid the massive traffic.  We had a blast.

For the 1st time, BOTH girls stayed in the playland and no accidents! This has never happened before. Tyson and I got to enjoy an hour of walking around and talking. It was amazing!!!
