We had my sister and her family come visit us. It was a blast! They stayed here for a few days and then went to Great Wolf Lodge for a few days - and we got to tag along with for a day at the awesome pool.
We went to a Harvest Festival, we had an adult dinner at Benihanna's, we walked in beautiful Golden and the girls loved playing with their cousins.
London also had her Field Day that week and we got to watch conference and snuggle at home. It's been great.
September ended with a bang. It was a wonderful month. The weather was so so nice. We spent countless hours outside, walking, in our backyard, entertaining.
Now the days are getting cooler, the leaves are changing. Part of me is sad that summer/fall are ending. But the other part of me knows there is beauty in letting go, letting the outside "rest" and seeing the beauty in the winter times.
We visited Broomfield Days and Sydney's school walked in the parade. Sydney had a great time. London also started her Jazz dance classes and I think she will really really like it.
London participated in her final ever Hawk Hustle Fun Run. Something we have done for the past 7 years. It's been bitter sweet - but super great that we really took advantage of being active in the schools fun raising events.
We also held our 4th annual Harlan Street Fall Fest - it was our biggest one yet! We had 35 neighbors in our backyard - and it was pretty dang perfect. We even had the blakely's, Robyn Cronin and Arlena back to join us.
