First fish in 15 years for Tyson. He was so excited!

The trees were amazing! We played "house" and the girls loved climbing

Feeding the baby ducks on Sunday after church

Memorial Day weekend was just what we needed. With Tyson working 13 hour days and having my client do a big launch - we needed a few days to slow down.

So we decided to spend time outside, away from screens and go on long drives. Saturday we drove an hour to Boyd Lake. We met Tevita and had a blast for a few hours. The girls got to see a fish being caught. They played on trees and collected sticks. It was so nice to be outside!

After we went to a birthday party at Jeremy and Amy Granger's house. It was really great. The girls loved the bouncy house and hammock. We came home around 5 pm totally exhausted. We watch a movie and went to bed early. It was marvelous.

We went to church on Sunday and then after relaxed at home and then went on an afternoon bike ride to feed the ducks.

Monday, Tyson and I washed our couch cushions. We rode bikes to Khols to get a killer deals on shoes for Tyson. Then we rode bikes to Barnes and Noble to read and look at summer workbooks.

We got home around 3 pm and we relaxed. Then we headed to a BBQ at Monica's and Horacio Frey's house. We had yummy food and great company. We made it home at 845 and then all of us went straight to bed.

It was a wondeful weekend!

End Of May + London Graduation

Well we are officially toward the end of May. So many things are happening that it does not feel real that summer is here.

Tyson has been working 12 - 13 hour days at his new job. He loves it and he is trying his heart out. I am so happy for him!

But that also means everything falls on me shoulders - and I am exhausted. I am so grateful for this chance, but it's been really hard to keep up with everything.

We had London's graduation on May 24th. We had school awards ceremony on May 21st. We are also teaching English Connect on Thursday's plus all my work and doing a massive launch this week.

Oh and the weather has been awful! We got 3 inches of snow on May 21st. London's graduation had to be moved inside because it was only a high of 40 on the last day .... it sucked!

Thankfully today has been sunny and mid 70's. I swear the weather messes with me.

So we did not do any celebration for school ending - we came home and I had to get right back to work.

But I know all this extra effort will be worth it. I know that God will bless Tyson and I really feel like this could be a  launch pad to a great career.

I am so grateful I work from home. I am grateful I can get up early to get caught on stuff. I am so so grateful that the girls will be starting summer camp on June 3rd.

We attended the Erie Balloon Festival on May 20th and we found both a baby bunny and baby coyote by our house - sadly the baby bunny fell into our window well and died :(

As the summer starts my goal is to finish the reading lessons with London again, do 3 reading programs for the girls and really hang at home after summer camp .

Tiny baby bunny right in our lawn!
