Happy birthday sweet Sydney. You are officially 10 and into the double digits.
This year was super chill. You actually got your two presents really early. Your big present was a big girl 24" bike. We actually had the Blakely's hold it for weeks and they secretly added it to our garage. It's big on you - but by next summer you will love it. You also got a fun basket.
You have been begging for a robe and we got you one.
Your birthday was on a Sunday - so it started out really chill - UNTIL, Iuliana and Abby totally surprised us! It was the perfect thing for you. You have really missed Abby since she moved in July.
I talked in church on your birthday and did two big shouts to you. You loved all the attention and kept saying "I don't want my birthday to end. I like people being really nice to me."
We had the Burner family over for dinner and had a blast trick or treating. We came home and sorted so so so much candy.
Sydney you continue to have the biggest heart. You feel so deeply. You care for people who are hurting. You ask a lot of deep questions. You worry about others. You still love reading and writing. You have started to write a journal and you LOVE to read me your entries. They are so funny and cute.
You love to snuggle and beg for it every night. I don't know how long that will last, but it's super sweet now. You love YouTube, you love playing games and you love being outside. You love your new friend Tatum and we are so glad you have someone that you really like.
Thank you for being my snuggle buddy. Thank you for being so good and wanting to learn and grow. I love you sweet Sydney.
Love, Mom
