October/November 2023 + Sydney Birthday

 

October 2023 was great. We firs had the Thompson's visit. We loved seeing them, taking them to Golden and swimming at Great Wolf Lodge with them. 

We visited the Blakely's and loved seeing Fort Collins in the fall. We went to the farmers market and around the City Park Lake. We also saw the Taylor Swift concert movie - it was a blast! The girls danced on the stage, sang every song and we loved it too. 

The fall has been so pretty. The Leaves are a gorgeous color. We have loved spending time outside making leaf piles and jumping. We put up our Halloween lights and love the purple over them. 

**** Sydney Turns 12 ****

We also celebrated Sydney's 12th birthday. Since this was a "golden year" we gave her a birthday party. She chose to invite 8 friends, and we took them to dinner at the Old Spagethi Factory. Then we went to Trick Or Treat street, finally we came home for presents and cake. It was so fun!

Sydney is growing up to be such a wonderful young woman. She has loved being in two YW wards this year and doing so many cool things - like going to YW camp, skits and just learning more independence.

You have embraced Middle School and learning new things. You are so kind, love animals and have the biggest heart. You still love playing with friends and cousins. You are learning new responsibilities and feel so proud of yourself when you do the right things. I can't imagine life without you. You are becoming such a wonderful young lady.
