We officially have two middle schoolers. London started on 8/14 and Sydney on 8/15. I wish I could say that everything went smoothly - but I can't.
London had a terrible run in with a former friend who turned mean girl on the very first day. It was really hard and she cried. But Heavenly Father was looking out for London. He sent a sweet 8th grader to her side and a wonderful guidance counselor who really loved on her.
Sydney also felt a lot of anxiety over her first day. So many tears.
But both girls pulled through. They are tough and resilient.
The 2nd week was much better and we are hoping that this will be a great year overall.
