Happy birthday London. You are 9 and boy what a year it has been. This year has been full of trial and error. You were officially diagnosed with ADHD and ODD last March We implemented medication, therapy, new strategies .... and here we are.
You are happier, better at school and overall enjoy a better quality of life. We have put in a lot of work and it has paid off. As you turn 9 your strengths are really shinning.
You have an amazing work ethic. You love being with adults. You have much healthier friendships. Your school work has grown leaps and bounds. You did Gymnastics, started cooking Lessons and started piano.
You rock at cleaning your room and you love babies, playing outside and riding your bike. You have been rocking rollerblading.
You still love to fall asleep in our bed and you love me reading to you. I can see your heart is very aware of your growth. You have also really focused on your superpowers of concentrating and remembering things.
We celebrated your birthday with some fun gifts and then ate at Red Robin. You got some swimming snorkerls, a fun camera and baby carrier.
I am so glad we have been able to give you support. You are truly such a gift. I love you London!
Love, Mom
