Sydney's Baptism + January Happenings

This was the day that both girls took showers on their own.
Big steps!

We had 3 Costco Cookie boxes, 2 grape boxes, ritz crackers and a
package of sliced cheese

January has been awesome! And to top it off - we had an amazing weekend and had Sydney's baptism. I could have never expected how amazing the weekend would be.

We had Tyson's entire family come. We had my parents and abuelita come. The weekend started Thursday when Debbie and Gaylan came at night and watched the girls Karate class and also had the girls do their first sleep over with them at the hotel. The girls were in heaven and loved sleeping at the hotel. Friday morning I worked in the morning and picked up my parents.

Then all 16 of us met at the museum and spent 3 hours looking at all the exhibits. It was really great. Then after, Debbie took the kids and Tyson and I took our parents and we had dinner. We went to Benihanas.

Saturday morning, Tyson and I woke up really early. We got ready and headed to the church at 730. We set everything up. I came home at 9 am to pick everyone up. We took pictures at 930 and had the baptism at 10 AM. The service was so sweet. I did not expect to feel so many emotions.

- Sydney had to be dunked twice
- Sydney ask some funny questions during the talks
- Debbie gave an amazing talk and gave out kitkats.

The rest of the day was spent getting lunch at Modern Market, skate city, playing games at our house, watching the Aggy game, dance parties.

It was such a fun and exhausting day! My parents left really early on Sunday. We went to church with Debbie and Gaylan, then we had lunch and hung out at home all day. They finally left at 9 pm and we all collapsed on our bed.

It's been an amazing time in our family. Sydney and London are becoming such good kids. They are growing up and they feel so loved. Our ward was amazing and showed up. We had 60 people there.

Besides Sydney's baptism, the girls have been busy doing a month free of Karate every Tuesday and Thursday. London is still doing her reading lesson's with Elli. We are busy but really enjoying life.

New Years 2019

Yummy Samples after the gym

Minute To win It games

We made to 11 PM - then it was off to bed

Roller skating at Skate City on New Years Day

Wow! We made it to a new year and a new decade. Between Christmas and New Years life felt like a slow blurr.

We went to the gym every day. We attended church. The girls played in the snow, Tyson studied and I worked a little bit.

Life was simpler and moved slower. On New Year eve we worked out. We went to Buffalo Wild Wings to use a coupon that expired THAT day and then hit the Anythink Library 12 PM Celebration.

We came home around 130 and we cleaned until the 5 pm party ... it was great to have 3 families over and we had so much food and played games. Everyone left by 830 , we cleaned up for 20 minutes and hung out the rest of the night.

It was simple, fun and the perfect way to bring in the new year.

On New Years Day we worked out and then went back home until 4 pm. Then we hit Skate City and Infinutus Pizza with a BOGO coupon. The whole day cost us $13! Nice!

2019 was a crazy year for us - Tyson losing his job, finding a new job, working 13 hour days for 6 months, loving his work. Martha traveling and learning so much, The girls doing school and young voices ...

We did our 1st ever solo family vacation to Seattle. We traveled to see my mom, we did Come Follow Me consistently. Just so many things that happened.

Our family grew stronger. The girls are so much more independent. We are moving into a new phase of parenting the girls - and I am loving their personalities coming out.

We have some pretty big goals for 2020 and with the Lord help - we will do it!
