This was the day that both girls took showers on their own. Big steps! |
We had 3 Costco Cookie boxes, 2 grape boxes, ritz crackers and a package of sliced cheese |
January has been awesome! And to top it off - we had an amazing weekend and had Sydney's baptism. I could have never expected how amazing the weekend would be.
We had Tyson's entire family come. We had my parents and abuelita come. The weekend started Thursday when Debbie and Gaylan came at night and watched the girls Karate class and also had the girls do their first sleep over with them at the hotel. The girls were in heaven and loved sleeping at the hotel. Friday morning I worked in the morning and picked up my parents.
Then all 16 of us met at the museum and spent 3 hours looking at all the exhibits. It was really great. Then after, Debbie took the kids and Tyson and I took our parents and we had dinner. We went to Benihanas.
Saturday morning, Tyson and I woke up really early. We got ready and headed to the church at 730. We set everything up. I came home at 9 am to pick everyone up. We took pictures at 930 and had the baptism at 10 AM. The service was so sweet. I did not expect to feel so many emotions.
- Sydney had to be dunked twice
- Sydney ask some funny questions during the talks
- Debbie gave an amazing talk and gave out kitkats.
The rest of the day was spent getting lunch at Modern Market, skate city, playing games at our house, watching the Aggy game, dance parties.
It was such a fun and exhausting day! My parents left really early on Sunday. We went to church with Debbie and Gaylan, then we had lunch and hung out at home all day. They finally left at 9 pm and we all collapsed on our bed.
It's been an amazing time in our family. Sydney and London are becoming such good kids. They are growing up and they feel so loved. Our ward was amazing and showed up. We had 60 people there.
Besides Sydney's baptism, the girls have been busy doing a month free of Karate every Tuesday and Thursday. London is still doing her reading lesson's with Elli. We are busy but really enjoying life.
