Father's Day 2017

Father's day was so relaxed. After a super busy week with things pretty much everynight, we took Friday night off, Saturday night off and all of Sunday.

It was stake conference - so it was nice to just got and listen. We went to the zoo on Saturday day and spent 3 hours there. We found the sweetest play area - I am so excited for it!

After church we ate pulled pork sandwhiches, brocoli and rice. Then we watched the Lego Batman movie again. After that, I took the girls to the park for 1.5 hours and gave Tyson a good break to do whatever he wanted.

We came home, gave the girls a bath and then we all hung out until bedtime. I worked a little and got ready for the week. So it was super relaxed but wonderful.

Tyson got two fun gifts from the girls from school.

Speaking of school, we are on lesson 28 of the Teach Your Child To Read In 100 Lessons. Sydney is reading full sentences and yesterday during the conference she wrote her first full sentence. It's been really neat for her to want to learn. We never really push her - we take the weekends off, but we are excited for her. On Saturday, she read to Baily, a dog at the library. She loved it!

Tonight we are finishing up the firepit section in our yard and we will roast our first one's this weekend.
