London's Surgery

Our sweet London has to get hand surgery on Tuesday 11/20. We went to the doctor the week before hoping for great xrays - but it was worse. So off to surgery we went. Honestly, I was terrified.

I was thinking the worse would happen. I was worried about the pain - the recovery.

Tuesday we went in at 530 am. She was in surgery at 730 am and out at 9 am. She was really fighting the anesthesia and came out screaming and kicking. She said her arm hurt and they quickly gave her medicine.

We stayed until 1030 and headed home. The first day she was in and out and was getting medicine every 4 hours. I was so worried at night. I got up at 5 am to make sure her medicine was ready. The next day she has not wanted Tylenol and the 3rd day no medication. I was so impressed with her.

The Lord truly blessed us with great nurses and doctors. They treated her like a queen.

Thanksgiving week was crazy - surgery for London, we had hosted Thanksgiving and we painted our house!!!! What a crazy week and so glad it’s all over. The Lord truly helped us.

This Thursday we go back to get her big cast on and then she will have it on for 4 weeks.

Fingers crossed the bone is where we need it to be.
