Trying to park and escape the hail storm.

On July 5th we finally made it to Vail with the Blakely Family.

Even though it’s only 1.5 hours away, we have NEVER been here. I am SO glad we finally came. The Blakely’s know all the in’s and out’s of Vail. So we really got the best tour. We hit all the fun things and the kids NEVER got bored.

Vail is just beautiful. The architecture, the street, the playgrounds - it’s all perfect and beautiful. The day was really nice too. Not too hot or cold.

We ate the Red Lion and had amazing Gelato at Krimini. We also saw a beautiful wedding party. The bride was so pretty!

We hit the Pirate Park, the fountains, the library, the free buses, the other play ground, the gelato … it was just so pretty. We loved walking in between Villages and seeing the amazing homes.

The drive there was pretty scary for me - I am not use to driving in the mountains but I am grateful that we did it. I will be going back in August with my parents.

We left at 815 and we came home at 8 pm. We got back to Denver and got caught in a crazy rain and hail storm. We had to stop 2 times to get shelter since we could not even see anything.

Colorado is such a beautiful place. So grateful that we are in a  better financial place that we can take little day trips and really see the beauty around us.
