Eight Months

Weight: 18.12 0z
Height: 29 inches

Fun Facts:
1. You found your voice and BOY do you let us know it. You scream, squeal and everyone can hear it. You squeal when your happy. You squeal when you sad and specially when you want to be held. Noone can deny when you are done with a certain activity.
2.  You are now eating solid foods twice a day - breakfast and mostly dinner. You tried bananas and got lots of little bumps so we stopped using them. You are still a champ with pretty much everything else. You continue to love veggies way more than fruits.
3. You are all of the sudden started to get up early - like 6 am early. Thankfully you are just as happy to play in bed until 630 when mom and dad have the energy to come get you.
4.  You can stay up 3 hours between naps now. Sometimes I run of out things to keep you happy. You change what interest you everyday.
5. You are able to do quiet time for 18-20 minutes now. It's mom' savings grace since nap times are now shorter.
6. You stopped taking 2 hours naps. Instead you take 1-1.5 hour naps. Sometimes just 45 min is what you need but mom could use a little longer.
7. Still no teeth but man you bite pretty hard on my finger. You are loving chewing on paper while I look for my coupons.
8. You love being outside. I have made a tradition to going outside and sitting on our picnic blanket every morning since it's too hot during the day. You get really curious about the construction, the cars going by and the trees.
9. You love paper. I usually open up all my coupons on Sunday when I get them, but now I open one a day so you can play with the paper. Daddy hates when I let you chew on it but you are so happy doing it. Dont worry I limit myself to things that won't bleed ink.
10. You started to "reach" for daddy. It's the cutest thing. Daddy just can't resist.
11. You can turn pages like a pro. You like going through a book over and over JUST to turn the pages. You always look up at us like you are trying to say "see what I can do?".
12. You love watching yourself in any mirrow. It's like you found a long lost friend. As a result every mirrow and bathroom mirrow in the house has little tiny smudges of little hands. I don't mind though. It makes the house feel "broken in"
