We had a Christmas party at the home of Tanya and Jeff Bennion and what a time it was! We had 15 couples attend, played Christmas games and opened presents.
Everyone brought treats and a white elephant gift to open, sadly I cannot claim possession of the Mitt Romney Bobblehead, but here are a few of the parties highlights:
1. Martha's Cake: Ladies and Gentlemen, these pictures are actual pictures of my cake - I'm still trying to figure the entire thing out. I have to hand it to those people that actually ate the cake just to make me feel better - thanks! 
2. Sex for Dummies: For those who say church parties are lame - you've obviously never came to ours. BTW - the couple that got the book are actually pregnant with their first kid! Congrats Harmony and Amron. This book created quite the stir, but oddly enough everyone went for Rummikue
3. Rummikue: You know that present that everyone fights over during a white elephant gift? Ours was 1. Rummikue and 2. Mancala. Since we had no restrictions on how many times a gift could be stolen, we must have traded that gift at least 8 times, and usually between three couples! LOL it was awesome
4. Mitt Romney Bobblehead: The highlight of the evening, this present was way unexpected but created great political discussions
All in all the party was a hit! We have great couples in our ward; warm, friendly, open and just fun! Tyson and I feel really lucky to have such a great ward.
Our January activity will be a finance seminar for couples - talk about mixing Love&Money! Mark your calendars for Monday, January 7th at 7:30 pm
