Wow, it seems like the last month we have had tons of Utah visit and now we will be headed down there for the 2nd time in three weeks.
Grandpa Gerber passed away Tuesday 8/10. It was a sad day for the entire Gerber generation. This man was amazing, I mean AMAZING. We are headed down tonight for the viewing tomorrow and funeral on Saturday.
As with every trip I try to make the conditions perfect. The house will be spotless when we leave the state. I will have meals ready so when we get home Monday, we won't be tempted to go out and eat. We are all packed, Tyson is getting his oil changed and we are excited to see Chenille and Straton.
Tyson and I spent a good long time talking in bed Tuesday night. It was dark, quite and the spirit testified of eternal families. I'm so grateful for eternal families.
At the end of the day, month, year ... heck life! The only thing that will really matter is the example, love and belief you left with people. Grandpa Gerber always told us to live below your means, save, don't have debt. Now Tyson and I are living exactly what he has been preaching and although we feel this is the way we will live F.O.R.E.V.E.R - it's just temporary. We won't always be like this. We will reach financial independance and continue the great Gerber name.
