I wanted to make sure I update the tons of fun things I have missed blogging.
First: My cousins graduation. Becky graduated from Weber. We had a great lunch at Ruby River after. Congrats Becky!
Second: Ty and I babysited our friends kids. They were so fun but such a handful. Within 30 minutes of arriving, they successfully ruined all my work to clean my condo. We made brownies and I even let them lick the boat :)We watched Enchanted and we played "pretty hair."
Third: Blaze Game Time. Our ward had a great time rooting on the Blaze. My little brother Julio joined us for a yummy dinner at Rumbies. We won!
Fourth: I got new glasses! After losing them on our unbelieveable trip to Florida with PFS back in February. I was so glad to go a little more bold. They have a cool little design on the side. I love them!

Frisbee Golf
To celebrate the great weather Utah has had, Ty and I decided to go on a picnic. We got our chicken salad sandwiches, donuts, fresh strawberry's, water and we were off. The park is just down the street but happens to have a Frisbee Golf course. I've played Frisbee golf once and remember I wasn't very good. After eating Ty and I took a nice long walk around the park and we noticed a couple of interesting things; 1. The Frisbees vary in size, just like golf. You have mini ones for distance, medium ones for accuracy and larger ones for short distances. 2. The courses are pretty long and there are 18 holes. 3. There are a lot of people who have nothing better to do at 2 pm that to play Frisbee Golf.
Ty was dying to play but alas we had no Frisbees of our own. We met some awesome players and even found a guy that was interested in joining our business. Cool eh?
We had a great day yesterday. The kind of day that reconfirms that we are on the right track. I love our business. I'm so excited for our future!

I "Vant" to Drink Your Blood ...
Tyson and I are looking for a house. We have a great Realtor and she has taken us to see at least 15 places, one problem - I am VERY picky. Seeing more than 15 homes has exposed us to some very cool things and very yucky things. Below is an example.
We saw a house yesterday, one of 8 and it seemed pretty cool from the outside. We stepped inside and checked out the rooms (small, bathrooms (only one) and the kitchen (ok). I stepped toward the garage to check it out; cracked the door and heard massive screeching!!! BATS! Holy cow this garage was filled with bats!!! Tyson did not believe when I screamed and so I told him to look himself. Same reaction! Yeah that house is on our "no" list.
The hunt continues. I'm not too pressured to make a decision right now; however, I feel very grateful that we have a business the allows us to have the option to buy a home. I'm so grateful for PFS.

Seminar Photos
Below are the awesome photos from this last weekend. Tyson and I are so proud of our team for all their hard work. We have great leaders; Brian & Emily, Ben, Joe & Lidia, Sharon, Mike, Aaron, Jad, Brian, Sharon ... the list goes on and on.
After the Saturday training, the team got together for team pictures and then it was off to Market Street Grill for a Team Captains luncheon. Ty and I sat with Brian and Emily, Rafa Bastidas - an original Utah PFS founder and a great couple from Idaho.

Happy Mothers Day
I wanted to take this opportunity and honor the amazing mothers in my life.
1. My Grandma: Having raised 8 kids on her own, my grandma also raised me. I love her and respect her for paving a path of strong women. She is eternally sweet, remembers everyone birthday and never seems to lose faith in life. I love her.
2. My mom: She left an abusive situation and chose to fight for a better life for us. My mom is tough. My mom is sweet. My mom is generous. My mom is kind. My mom is strong. My mom believes in me. I love you mom.
3. Tyson's Mom: I can't think of a higher compliment than to have your son treat his wife well. Ty is an amazing husband and a lot has to do with his mother. Debbie is amazing. Debbie is sweet and honestly just a great person. I love her as my mother-in-law.
4. Melynda: The girl that I have copied my whole life. She was my inspiration for achieving bigger things. College, church attendance, skydiving, skinny dipping, Melynda has been my inspiration for all. She is a fantastic mother, a loving wife and a constant friend. I'm a better person because of Melynda.
5. My Sister: It's amazing seeing us grow up. Jael has become an amazing woman. I'm so proud of her for accomplishing all the crazy things she gets herself into. I love her and she will always be in my heart.
To all the women in my life. I love you. I'm grateful for you. Happy Mother's Day.

Victory
Wow! What a weekend. Friday & Saturday were jammed packed with awards, luncheons, friends, family and gratitude. I'll post real pictures later, but I just have to brag about Ty for a minute.
We had a total of 17 guest show up and around 45 team members (this is an improvement from our less than 15 we had last year :0) Friday night started with a dinner. At 7:30 the gala started with a great overview. Steve Stonebraker, Brandon Niel, Brendan Murton rocked it out. Ty was recognized for his Regional Leader promotion, Team Captain position and Black Jacket Award. I was so proud of my hubby and grateful for a fantastic team.
Saturday was amazing; from hearing a 22 year old kid that makes 25K a month, to Chris Koob, who started making nothing but now makes 150K a month, it was so inspiring. This business if filled with potential, waiting to be untapped.
Ty was recognized at #1 in ALL Of Utah in the rep-division category. What a blessing! We got his HUGE trophy, but more importantly we were able to honor our amazing team.
We had a great lunch at Market Street Grill from 2-4 and sung a happy birthday to our awesome RVP, Steve Stonebraker.
This is such an amazing business! Thank you for Melynda, Stef, My family, Jael, Steve, Doug, Dave, Jennifer, Matt and everyone else that came and supported us. We love you!

Are YOU Ready?!
It's that time again! We are so excited for our huge Citigroup/PFS Gala night. Martha and I are going all out for this years gala. We're excited for our promotion and the future of our business. It's interesting to look back on what can happen in just one year. Martha and I were barely starting to run our business and we were hungry to make something of our lives - and now, a year later, we are ONE position away from Regional Vice Presidents. AMAZING! We are so grateful for our many blessings, our amazing team and for Citigroup believing in us enough.
So many awesome people have helped us along the way. This Friday we will share our success with those we love and respect. We have over 70 team members coming, plus our VIP guest!
Friday night is going to ROCK! An amazing dinner, amazing speeches, recognition ... who could ask for more?!

Iron Man Movie Date
Ty and I decided to actually double last Saturday :) We met up with Ty's awesome friend Dave and his beautiful wife Natali. We ate dinner at Spaghetti Mama's and I was so impressed! We had a great meal and talked for over two hours on life, building a successful business and the great plans we wanted to achieve. It was so refreshing to finally meet with a couple that wanted bigger things in life. Most couples settle for mediocrity, evenings off and boring lives. Dave and Natali were different. They were so alive and still in love after 9 years and two beautiful kids. I hope to be there soon.
After dinner we saw the late showing of Iron Man, and I have to admit, I was skeptical. I thought it would be one of those "guy" movies. I was wrong. I loved everything about the movie BUT the end; however, I would still recommend it.
So thanks to Dave and Natali, for a great date night that encourages me to be more social.
