Prego Update
So looks like Im about 16 weeks. I'm happy to report that the nausea has calmed down. So far I've only thrown up twice with this pregnancy. I do feel like I have slightly more energy - which usually means I will go to bed at 9 instead of 830. I know, I know - party animal.
Even though the nausea is calmed down, it's been replaced by several fun new symptons, which include:
1. Metal mouth - where everthing taste like metal
2. Massive heartburn
3. A sharp pain on the top of my rib cage, which my OB is convinced is just more heartburn
4. A sharp pain in my right butt. I had this with Sydney but not until month 7, so I guess it's early
5. Headaches. Oh the headaches
6. Super sensitive hearing and eyes. I preffer my volume at -5
So some things have gotten better, others just stay the same. Tyson has been a super stud again. I think the biggest thing that I admire most is his ability to take Sydney right when he gets home. My body and mind are usualy done around 530 and Tyson usually gets home around 610. He will take a quick shower and then he is on Sydney duty. He will play with her, feed her, carry her, put her jammies on and will usually put her to bed 50% of the time. I don't know of any other single thing that makes me love him more. This single act of total kindness reminds me of why I married him.
We hope to find out the gender in the next month of or so. Other than that, life is pretty routine. It's sad but most days I get up and usually have energy, but by 3 pm I'm counting down to bed time for Sydney and I. Thank heavens for early bedtime!

Guess What ....
Someone decided to learn to stand. Scary story bu she decided to show us by pretty much falling out of her crib while I was putting clothes away. It was soooo scary. We could not understand how she got so close - but the next day she taught us she could crawl her little hands up the bars and viola - standing. She loves to stand on the couch and can walk toward things while we carry her hands.
So out sweet baby never crawled but she's becoming pretty good at walkin :)

Weekend Recap
This last weekend was really fun. Saturday we finally, FINALLY celebrated our anniversary. The three of us headed out to Outback steakhouse because I was craving a baked potatoe. Sydney was so funny. She was the start of the show and all the tables around us were mezmerised by her. She would giggle, grab food and babble. It was really funny.
We got home, put Sydney down and watched a show until I was out by 9 pm. Sunday Tyson got sustained as the 2nd councelor in the Elders Quorum. After church we had lunch with the new Elders President - it was so yummy! I felt bad because I started dry heaving pretty bad toward the end of our visit. Not sure why but man it sucked.
We got home around 530 and by 6 pm the Meakins had arrived! Poor Allison felt so bad for me just mushed on the couch. We attempted to watch the Lorax but with 4 babies, we mostly talked. We had dip, chips, cookies and popcorn. It's hard because I lose my appetite at night. I might be soooo excited for a dinner but by 6 pm I have to force myself to eat something so I don't starve the next morning.
As usual with small babies, everyone left for bedtimes at 8 pm. It was so nice to see friends and be around other adults. Tyson and I cleaned up, he was a total stud and cleaned all the floors and mopped them. Tyson rocks.
We were both in bed by 930. Overall it was a really good weekend. I'm still feeling really crappy. Some nights are better than other but mostly after 530 my body starts to shut down. I get dizzy and I just want to pass out. Its such a crazy time.

Five Year Anniversary
Wow, we celebrated our 5 year anniversary. Half a decade! It seems like we are still just newlyweds - totally clueless and still trying to figure it all out. This year was really low key. I just got back from Utah two days before, I was exhausted and it's hard to find a sitter. We did keep our tradition and watched our wedding video - hilarious!
We talked all day about "we were doing this right now...." and remembered all the funny things that happened that day. Our lives are so different from when we first started but its also so good.
I think that our love is so much deeper but at the same time sillier than before. We know each other so well yet we still do dumb things that keep us laughing. Tyson is my best friend. At the end of the day he's the only person that I want to tell my happenings to. We've experience so much happiness and let downs since last July. Sydney entering our family has blown our expectations, business failed, friendships strenghtened and prayers said. We are so much more humbler and yet optimistic for the future.
Tyson continues to amaze and frustrates me, but man he's a stud. He still so kind and patient. He loves to have a good time. He loves to play with Sydney and just can't get enough of her. They have such a cute bond.

Nine Months
Weight:19.2 lbs
Height: 29 inches
Fun Facts:
1. You continue to be our little talker. You babble all day long. Your little mouth is soooo stinking cute and your big eyes light up when we babble back. I love how you talk to cars or your toys. You also love talking to other babies.
2. You still don't crawl but you are a wiggly baby. You are finally liking rolling over from your back to stomach but only to get toys.
3. You are great at playing by yourself. You can play 15 minutes at a time. Everytime we go to a party people are amazed you can play by yourself for so long.
4. You still take 2 naps but usually in bed no later than 745. You are now waking up around 710 am and I can't tell you how much mama loves being able to stay in bed until 7 am.
5. You are much better are pinching food and feeding yourself. Sometimes you missy our little mouth but you try and try again.
6. You can pull yourself up and down as long as someone is holding your back. You have also started to know how to move your little feet along the couch.
7. Still no teeth sweetheart but it's ok. You still seem to eat just fine.
8. You tend to gag alot and choke because you try to eat too much too soon. At first we were terrified but now we feel much better since we know how to stay calm and help you.
9. You are starting to say dada and mama much more clearly. You also love to say bah bah.
10. You are pretty stubborn and hate your nails cut.
11. You are finally finally holding your bottle. Utah really helped you get use to this and I can't tell you how much that helps when I am sicker than a dog on the floor. I still like to hold you and feed you sometimes, just because you are so cute and mild when you are eating.
12. You light up when either mom or dad enter the room. It's an amazing feeling to know you recognize us.
13. You are very social but very slow to touch other people and babies. You take your time learning your enviroment.
14. You are such a happy baby Sydney. You make everyone smile. Whenever we go out you love to catch people's attention and give them a big toothless smile. It melts my heart. You are such a joy to be around. I love to cuddle with you when I am rocking you to sleep. You are such a beautiful baby.

Utah Pictures Part 1
I came home last Wednesday from Utah. Two words to describe my trip were 1. Fun and 2.Exhausting.
Sydney was champ on both airplane rides. She slept for 40 minutes on both. Once we landed it was a little different. She really had a hard time at night. She would wake up atleast twice a night. My family would not let her cry it out so I was stuck putting her back to bed everytime. She was also by by 630 every morning. This is usually not a biggie but after a sleepless night I was beyond tired. I'm not kidding when I say I would got to bed by 8 pm so I could make it through the night.
Outside of that it was all fun. My favorite part was seeing Logan and Sydney get to know each other. It was so cute. They are SO different. Logan is quiet, sweet, cuddly and so chill. Sydney is loud, hyper and determained. The first three days Sydney would start yelling and Logan would cry and cry. Sydney also had a fascination with his helmet. He was not happy and let her know it. After three days they were totally in love with each other.
Here are some other fun things we did:
1. Hit the farmers market at Gardner Village
2. Eat at Old Spagethi Factory
3. Brunch at Grand America
4. Lots of hanging out in couches
5. Trips to the mall
6. Trips to Walmart
7. Julios Batman Birthday Party
8. Erica and Martin watching Sydney
9. Swimming with Jael and Melynda
10. Eating breakfast on the 24th with Melynda
11. Walking the Peace Gardens
12. Hanging out outside my parents front door
It was a busy "kid" trip which means a small activity and then back home for naps. I loved that though. i never felt so tired or like we had too much to do. It was chill and relaxed. My mom started calling Sydney Sirena because she sings like Ariel.
Debbie picked me up on Wednesday. She showered Sydney with cute clothes and took us out to eat at Leatherbees. It was super cute because 3 days late was our 5 year anniverary and she took me back to the place where I first met Tyson. It was really sweet.
It was awesome to see family. I'll admit and say it was hard without Tyson. He's my sidekick and he knows Sydney so well. It was awesome to get back home to him. I missed him alot. I love him.
