My sweet drooling baby. I thank the heavens everyday for your calm and easy going personality. You are never scared by your big sister who loves to try new things on you - like yesterday when you were sitting on the bumbo and Sydney decided to stick a full toothbrush in your mouth and "brush your teeth". You never made a peep. You cuddle with me and are perfectly content to be in my arms all day. The only time you fuss is when I out you down in the late afternoon. You look at me with those BIG brown eyes and you bite your little lip and I just melt. I smother you with kisses daily. Your skin is so soft. I love you sweet London. I feel so lucky to have you.

Surprise Anniversary
I picked up Tyson at 11 pm on June 29th. After 17 days of not seeing him I was so happy to just have him back. I definitely appreciated all the amazing ways he helps me every day. The next day was Sunday and London's blessing. The original plan was to sleep in SLC Sunday and pack up the car and girls on Monday and head to Logan. Tyson said he had a surprise for me and that he had a "scheduled planned".
The surprise started by him saying that Debbie was going to take both girls with her to Logan on Sunday night. WHAT?>!>! So I had to pack their stuff last minute and come to grips with being away from London at only 4 months old. With Sydney it was a year before I left her. After the initial shock I was actually really excited for the surprise.
After London's blessing we packed up the girls and off they went to Logan. I was sad to see my girls leave but excited for a real night of sleep. I had not slept more than 4 straight hours for a month. We packed up the car and headed to a "secret location". Tyson surprised me when he drove into the Grand America hotel! I was so excited! It was the place we stayed the night of our wedding. We checked in, got to our room and quickly changed into our swim suits. We went outside and hung out in the hot tub. The outside pool was gorgeous! It was a warm summer night and perfect setting. We talked and talked about all the things we loved about each other in the month apart. We talked business and dreams.
After the pool we changed and headed downtown. We walked and walked and stopped by the place we took our engagements and my bridals. We tried and tried to find a place to eat but everything was closed. We finally found an awesome place named "Inferno Cantina". It was totally empty so we talked and talked to our waiter. We shared a shredded burrito and yummy chips. at 1030 we headed back to the hotel. It was the perfect walking weather - super warm and a slight breeze. It was so perfect. We talked about our girls and the six years we have been together. Its amazing how it feels like we are still the young kids just barely married.
We had a great time watching HGTV and taking a nice hot shower. The next morning we packed the van since we had so many things we were taking home. I headed back to my parents house since I forgot some clothes and we cleaned their place a little bit. We eat lunch and headed up to Logan. Oh I forgot to mentioned the three cute videos Tyson made of our anniversary pictures. Super super cute. Tyson blew my expectations. Usually we just order dinner and keep our anniversaries super low key but man was it fun to have a big surprise!
New rain boots....
I found a pair of boots at a thrift store - $2 baby! They are two sizes bigger thn Sydney wears but she still loved playing in the puddles. Today we helped my friend Allison start to pack. She moves to Utah in two weeks - I'm going to miss her so much. She was a huge reason for our routine and her twin girls love love love Sydney. We came home and played outside. We babysat Alex Bugarin and we colored outside. Overall it was a great day.

Children's museum visit
Another great visit. This time we played alot in the water section. Sydney was right at home. I was able to play with London in the newborn section and she approved - if by approved you mean lots of drool. We attempted a "toddler class" with yoga moves. Sydney lasted 5 minutes but it was cute to see her do moves. We love getting there right at 9 so we can leave before it gets super crazy.
This week I have struggled to get out of the house. I know we need to but then I run out of energy. Yesterday we went to post office and Kmart. It really helps to make the day go by faster. I was so tired I was in bed at 915. London got up at 630 so I got 8 hours of sleep. I have also been having success selling stuff on Craigslist! So far I have raised $90 toward our firepit.

Sisters . . .
Someone once told me giving Sydney a sibling was the best gift I could ever give her. Well five months into it and I questioned that remark often, however sometimes, like this instance, I see it. I see the wonderful relationship Sydney and London will have. I see the days of playing, laughing and learning together. Sydney has JUST started to say cheese while taking pictures. It's nice to see her face and not just her back or top of head.
I've been keeping busy trying to sell stuff on craigslist so I can save up money for a kitchen for Sydney or a firepit. I sold Tyson's old mountain bike for $30 and an old iPod for $20. I'm organizing old baby clothes and such. My goal is to make about $200 over the next couple of weeks selling stuff. Plus I love love love purging! It's a win win.
