Christmas 2011
We made it through our 3 weeks extra long vacation to Utah. I was so scared of the airport, the routine change, the extra people - everything honestly scared me. Thankfully things went alot smoother than planned. The only thing that was a bummer was that Sydney got sick. Her right eye got a little infection and she had an earache. We were able to soothe her with Triamic Infants Syrup, oils and lots of cuddling. I even let her sleep on my chest for the first time. During our Utah trip she also officially started going to bed earlier. At first around 8:30 but by the end it was about 7:30 every night. We also started doing the 11 pm dream feed which helped me sleep until 4:30 - 5 am every morning.
My family loved her. Could not get enough. She slept through her first christmas morning and new years eve - but she was a happy baby. Its funny how life becomes so much slower when a baby comes. Slower but happier. Below are some highlights of the trip - my picture taking was down since I was taking care of her most of the time or just too plain tired to take them :)
