Beautiful Bride and Groom

This weekend was insane/beautiful/exhausting all at the same time. I'll post more pictures later but I have had to post about Jael and Steve's beautiful wedding. It was amazing. The most amazing part was that even though wedding plans had to be altered to accommodate with the funeral of Pres. Hinckley, I never heard a word of complaint from Jael. Was she stressed out? sure, but she never let that take away from her niceness. Here is a quick breakdown of the day:

9 am: Breakfast at the Grand America.

9:45 am: Jael's hair appointment

12:30 pm: Jaels make-up appointment at Nordstroms( We were running 45 minutes late at this point. Tears were being shed)

1:00 pm: Back at the Grand America, hoped into the limo, headed to the temple.

1:05 pm: Roads closed!!! Get out of the car, walk a block to get into temple (wedding dress, tuxes, flowers in hand)

1:10 pm: Inside the temple and ready to rock.

1:40 pm: Ceremony starts, Grandma and I sitting next to Jael. It was beautiful. The sealer said amazing things and Steve could not wait to say yes!

2:10 pm: Getting ready to go outside of the temple

2:45 pm: Jael and Steve come out. Families rejoice. Jael looks stunning.

2:50 pm: Pictures starts (weather is pretty good)

4:30 pm: Pictures end (Weather is FREAZING!) I'm passed out in the couch waiting for the B&G to get back. Ty is waiting for me back at the hotel. We're all starving.

5:00 pm: We rush to the reception place,(Ring Ceremony set to start in 15 minutes) Get dressed, get flowers, get lined up.

5:35 pm: Ring Ceremony

6:00 pm: Dinner/family pictures start.

7:00 pm: Toast

7:15 pm: Cake cutting *** A special thanks to Maridean Mines who made the most AMAZING looking/tasting cake***

8:00 pm: Dancing starts!

10:00 pm: B&G are headed off to the honeymoon

10:30 pm: Everything is packed up, everyone goes home

11:00 pm: We arrive and crash at our apartment. What a fun day!

  3. Hey Martha and Ty, sorry we missed each other at the reception hall. My nieces little girl was being baptized and it was important to be there for her. (Her husband was able to get leave and come home from Iraq) Please post pictures as I want to see how beautiful everything was. Also what time were they going to get married? and were the traffic and crowds still large because of the funeral? Hope all else is going well. I talked to Marie for over 3 hours today...it was her birthday and I think she was a bit homesick. Chow
