Straton and Lauren

What a fantastic day. We were so lucky to be part of Strats and Lauren's wedding. We started the party with a classy dinner at Hamilton's steak house. It was kept intimate with immediate family only, so the setting was perfect to really get to know Lauren's family. Her sister's are darling and their husbands are so funny. A funny experience was having our waiter ask Straton "Are you from G2?" We all burst out laughing.

We had an early morning on Saturday and drove down to the Bountiful Temple. It was so neat to see Strat that morning. Excited yet prayerful. This was the biggest day of his life. Always calm and cool, Strat reminded me of Tyson on our wedding day. He wanted things to go just right. Lauren looked great when we met at the temple and off they went. It was tender to see them holding hands and walking in. Debbie, Ty and I walked around until it was time for the sealing. The sealer was hilarious and yet was respectful of the sacredness of the ceremony. I am not a cry er but I could not help and remember our wedding - so many emotions. I am so grateful for Ty. He is my perfect match. Strat and Lauren looked absolutely radiant when the came back out.

After the wedding, all the girls headed to get a bite to eat. We heded back to Logan and set up for the reception. The food was really good and they even had a jazz band - a big hit. We were able to clean up and head home by 9 pm- although it felt like midnight. Congrats to the happy couple. They are headed for such happy times.
