Day 4 & 5

We woke up Sunday morning around 8:45. We eat breakfast. We planned to go to Julio's ward and that started at 12:45. We took showers, I curled my hair with my new iron - LOVE IT! Jael and I watched Glee while the boys played video games. At 11:45 am we headed to church. Tyson was able to see his good friend Kellen and they talked for an hour. Its funny because Julio goes to the same building I went to when I was single and I actually saw several friends there!

It was great to see old friends. I also found out a friend of mine Marie Mines got engaged the day before. How fun! We got home from church and made some food. We changed and played more games. We started packing. Oh I also forgot to mention the boys played basketball the first night we arrived (Thrusday)










At 2 pm Tyson's family drove down to see us. We went to eat at Fazolies and then hit Ikead for good walk. We spent two hours with them and then drove home. We were sad to leave Ty's family. We were sad to leave my family. Again Tyson could not get enough of baby Oaklen, he just melts when he sees him. Man family is sooo very important.








We got home and just hung out. Jael, mom and I sat in her bed and just talked and laughed. At 7:30 Jael and Steve drove back to Logan. Sad. Mom and I had a good talk about family relationships and being patient. My mom is so wise. She is drama free and just sees what's most important in life. She is so eloquant with her words. I feel sleep around 11:30 pm.

DAY 5

My brother Julio took us to Melynda's house where we had an appointment as well as got to spend time with her sweet family. We played the game SNORTA,ate dinner and watched TV. Melynda then dropped us off at the aiport. We got home around 10 pm. It was such a great vacation. I was so sad to leave family but grateful to go back home. We really do love Denver.

Utah Day 2 & 3 Pictures

Day 3
We woke up New Years around 10:30 am - which was bad since we had reservations to eat breakfast at 11 am. I jumped out of bed and took a shower. I was the last one to get ready but I was only 20 minutes late. We enjoyed an amazing breakfast at the Garden Cafe. They had ice sculptures that said 2011 - it was all surreal. I could not believe 2010 was over. It seemed like a blur.

We ate breakfast and then took tours of the hotel. We went to the spa and it brough so many memories of me getting ready the day of my wedding. We looked that the pool and the stores inside the hotel. The view was incredible.

We came back to the room for one last look around we checked out at 1:30. We headed to the mall and walked around and then decided to go watch a movie. We decided on Tangled - which was darling! I cried. It was sweet and a great message. After the movie and a full day of activities we went home, changed into comfy clothes and then relaxed at home. We watched Glee, we watched HGTV, we cleaned our rooms. We modeled our new clothes - it was just a blast. We were all pretty tired from the full day.


























Day 2

We woke up in the morning. Jael and I attempted to do a Jillian Michaels workout video - we made it about 20 minutes : ( We got ready and made breakfast. After Jael, Steve, Ty and I headed to the mall. We exchanged Tyson's shirts and some clothes that were too small for baby Andrew.

We visited a really great clothing store - Urban Outfitters. Such cute clothes! I restrained myself but wanted everything in that store. We got home around 3 pm and cleaned the house and started to pack and get ready. My mom told us that we are continuing our tradition of going dancing but the we would walk across the street and stay at the Grand America for the night! We were so excited. We packed and got ready. My mom told us Tia Celia had made a dinner so we made it to Kayville and eat a fantastic meal. We had ham, turkey, cheesecake and so much good food.

We stayed there from 6 to 9:30 and then drove to SLC. We checked into the Grand and made it to our rooms - 978 and 976. We loved the rooms - so fancy and cute. We all got ready to go dancing. We made it to the club around 11 pm. There was a massive balloon drop at midnight. We rode the mechanical bull, we took swing dancing lessons. Jael and I kareokeed to Lady Gaga - hilarious. The funniest part was when Tyson got hit on by a way cute girl! He forgot his wedding ring and was standing while I danced with my brother. This cute girl comes up and ask him to dance - so fun! He was so embarrased but I was happy that he got hit on - its nice to know you still got it ;)

We finally made it back to the Grand right before 1 am. My mom said we could order some room service and we were SOOO happy. I've never ordered room service before and this was not your regular hamburger service - this was steak and expensive yummy food. We even got Fiji water - which sounds dumb but I've never even tasted it. I went to bed at 2:45 am - Tyson took a bath and did not go to bed until 4 am. It was such an amazing night.
