Sunday was a great day. We went to church and helped Jessica Moya feel comfortable. We also had a really cool class in gospel principles.

We did have a very interesting experience. We had dear friends celebrate a birthday by going bowling and out to dinner. We turned them down, but I was surprised how sad we were. One always wants to be included and to not let people down. We were really excited when we got the invitation but Tyson said we should not go - I greed. We got a little gift for the birthday boy but did not go to the party. It was a great experience to strengthen our testimonies of keeping the Sabbath day holy. We don't even buy gas on Sundays. I hope that when our kids go through this same experience that they will know that we went through the same thing and what we chose to do.

Instead of the party we enjoyed the First Presidency Christmas Devotional. It was awesome. They have a full orchestra and the MOTAB singing rocked. My favorite thing is when they sing Silent Night as the closing song. It is so gorgeous. I can't help but cry everytime I listen and sing along. It's so powerful. After we made cookies as gifts to our neighbors and friends. We had a great time.
